SEUSS=RANDOMNESS
Cosmo loves to hear the story of the lorax. Man, that dr. suess was one fabulous cat and the lorax is a sobering tome every time. Also, if you happen to say “my feet are cold” in cosmo’s vicinity, he’s likely to fill in the rest with part of one fish two fish red fish blue. The first time that happened I had to scratch my head an ponder why he said “my teeth are gold” in response.
“My hat is old, my teeth are gold.
I have a bird I like to hold.
My shoe is off, my foot is cold.
My shoe is off, my foot is cold.
I have a bird I like to hold.
My hat is old, my teeth are gold.
And now my story is all told.”
kid’s got a great memory and stellar sense of humor. If you want the rest of the story check out this random blog entry I found:http://worleygig.blogspot.com/2008/02/one-fish-two-fish-red-fish-blue-fish.html

I’m a fan. I put an excerpt from mike daisey’s play in the dropbox for you to enjoy.
And a link here:

I saw his performance and this is very much worth a listen. Skip car talk this weekend and run this show instead.
YES
One of my favorite moments of 2011 was as we were driving out of mt. rainier national park and – for good reason – I said “mountains come out of the sky and they stand there” [which out here in the northwest, they do just that] and ms. A piped in with “you sound like such a dad” [which indeed I am]
WAIT UP DADDY
Said my 2 ½ year old son the other day on a snowy day sledding expedition.

LIFE, THE UNIVERSE & EVERYTHING
No not 42 this time… just another plug for ‘notes from the universe’. They really make my day. Go ahead, sign up: http://www.tut.com/theclub/
I was going to save and post a bunch of my favorites from 2011, but I’m just going to give you two entries:
“Whatever your problem or challenge may be, sage, laugh at it. Laugh long and hard.
Because you are forever and it is temporary.
Love you,
The Universe
ps Ain't no pain or vice, sage, that you won't prevail over and be more for. And knowing this will hasten its retreat and blessings.”
“Dearest sage, I was about to wish that your every dream come true. That you find yourself surrounded by friends, laughter, and good times. I almost wished that your every cup runneth over financially, romantically, spiritually, and creatively. That good health be your faithful companion, peace your guarded ally, and love your perpetual guide. When suddenly, it dawned on me that as an infinite, powerful, fun-loving gladiator of the Universe, with eternity before you and the power of your thoughts to help shape it... it's you sage saskill, who will be granting wishes this year.
10... 9... 8... 7... 6...
The Universe
ps Oh, sage, HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY NEW YEAR anyway!”
YEAH!
A little daily affirmation goes a long way.
Peace Out for now my friends.
